Bobbi Boes is an award-winning writer and recipient of the Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award for her screenplay, SACRAMENTO. Credits of past winners include The Godfather, Forrest Gump, Outbreak, and A Walk on the Moon. Boes also received the Bridget and Bob Colleary Award for Best Romantic Comedy, as well as the Stephen Gershenson and a Screenwriting Diversity Award for her screenplay, WHITE TRASH COOKING. HALF LIFE, the tale of Irene Curie, was a finalist in the Sloan competition.Boes teaches Screenwriting, Film, and Video, with experience at Osher and all three levels of the California higher education system. Boes holds an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from UCLA and a B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing. She is a member of the Writers Guild of America, West, the Dramatists Guild and ASCAAP. When not writing, Bobbi can be found riding bikes or hiking with DiDi, her constant doggie companion.
