SARA
Giampiccolo
Vice-President, Building Committee Chair
"I love to sing-a, About the moon-a and the June-a and the spring-a
I love to sing-a, About the sky of blue-a or a tea for two-a,
Anything-a with a swing-a to an "I love you-a," I love to, I love to sing!"
(Lyrics from "I Love to Sing-a" by Cab Calloway and Al Jolson)
Those lyrics sum up Sara Giampiccolo's passion about singing. She loves telling a story through song. Temecula Theater Foundation's newest board member, Sara Giampiccolo, has been a proud member of the Southwest Women's Chorus since 2013. She loves the comradery and performing with other ladies who also share a love of song. She has held all kinds of positions in the chorus, from events coordinator, to social chair, to president since 2018. She feels very privileged to have performed at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, and has worked on fundraising events, such as the Gala and the Blue Moon Runs to help show her support for the Temecula Theater Foundation.
When Sara is not busy with chorus duties, she works as a substitute teacher for both the Temecula & Murrieta Valley unified school districts. Prior to substitute teaching, Sara was an elementary school teacher in the Tucson Unified School District, Arizona from 2005-2012 and the Val Verde Unified School District, Moreno Valley CA from 1997-2005. Sara resides in Murrieta, CA with her husband of twenty-six years, and two cats. In her spare time, Sara loves to travel, bicycle, and read.
